West Ottawa Panther Fund

What is it?

The Panther Fund was created to help students of West Ottawa Middle and High School that want to play sports but cannot afford the start-up costs. Assistance will focus around sports physicals, insurance, basic equipment and team t-shirt/sweatshirt.

Why is it necessary?

Currently, of the 3,500 7th – 12th grade students at West Ottawa, only 1,800 or 51% participate in athletics. We believe that many do not participate due to financial reasons. We also believe that athletics are an important part of a student’s education and personal development and want to provide a means for “getting kids in the game”.

How can I contribute?

Individual and corporate tax deductable donations can be sent to the West Ottawa Athletic Office. Make check’s payable to West Ottawa Panther Fund and write “Donation” in the memo line.

How do I apply for assistance?

Confidential assistance is offered through the West Ottawa Athletic Department. Please contact any coach or Pat Marsman, West Ottawa Athletic Director, through our contact form.
